Service Link

A major partnership between BEAS and local communities is ServiceLink, a statewide network of community-based resources for seniors, adults living with disabilities and their families. ServiceLink partners promote the independence and well-being of the people they serve at thirteen primary locations and many satellites throughout NH.

The newly expanded ServiceLink Resource Centers (SLRC) build upon the existing ServiceLink structure. In addition to expanding its staff to include long term support counseling and outreach to the disability community network, the SLRC integrates existing DHHS functions. These functions include providing easier access to the clinical and financial eligibility process for Medicaid long-term support benefits including the HCBC ECI waiver and the Medicaid Nursing Facility program. Consumers and providers are now able to contact one office to determine all the options and services available to them and to check on the status of their applications.

Revised Monthly Income Limit for Title XX Services. Effective July 1, 2008, the monthly income limit for people receiving Title XX (Social Service Block Grant) services is $1116. This change results from legislation passed during the 2007 session, and is an increase from the former monthly income limit of $900.

The new income limit will be used for both initial determinations and re-determinations of Title XX service eligibility. Title XX services help people to continue living independently, and include, but are not limited to, adult day care, homemaker and home-delivered meals. For more information on these services, please contact NH ServiceLink at 1-866-634-9412.
