Medical Alert Systems

This program is a volunteer supported service and is designed to give personalized service to meet the needs of individuals and their families in our communities. This helps to keep the cost as low as possible. If finances are an issue, there are sliding-fee and full scholarship programs available for qualifying subscribers. Our goal is to provide affordable Lifeline service to all. Subscribers may use the physician and hospital of their choice.

Service features include:

* Speakerphone units with two way communication.

* Choice of units: The basic unit or the telephone unit with many extra features, especially for vision, hearing and/or memory impaired.

* Voice assist units.

* Choice of waterproof, personal help buttons: The Slimline for neck or wrist; Classic Pendant for neck; or the new Tempo Watch that is also a personal help button (ask for details).

* Automatic reset from the response center.

* Ability to answer the phone with just the push of the personal help button for hands-free communication.
